Taste of Justice

A 2 part Interactive series that is both Educational and Fun. Sample foods from RESTAURANTS that promote Justice!

The structure of this 2 part series is to teach and take your groups to places that promote justice in the restaurant industry. There are many examples of restaurants that promote justice. The first session allows you to share some background about the issues of justice and dining out, the second session allows you to take your group out on the town and have them sample some of the foods as they learn more about these types of restaurant models.

“The food we eat, both what we eat and how we eat it, may be the most significant witness to creation care Christians can perform…We can eat in ways that either remember or forget God as the source and nurturer of life. When we eat so as to remember God, we eat with an appreciation for how food is a blessing and a gift.” Norman Wirzba, a professor of Christian Theology at Duke University
